Various spectrophotometers are available for the optical characterization of applied coatings, which operate in the wavelength range between 185 and 5200 nm. Thanks to a high degree of automation, precise reflection and transmission measurements up to an angle of incidence of 75° can be carried out very efficiently and thus offered cost-effectively.

Sometimes a specially developed measurement setup allows the spectral reflectivity to be measured on very small and strongly curved surfaces at different locations on a substrate. Combined with our in-house simulation software and the use of a self-developed planetary gear, this enables a controlled optimization of our layer systems on such challenging surfaces.
